About The Founder
Pastor Jeff K. Weathersby |
|
 Born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi. He attended Hinds Junior College for auto body work. Pastor Weathersby accepted his calling into the ministry in 1990 and preached his 1st sermon at the Greater New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church in Jackson, Mississippi under the Founder and Pastor, Rev Robert E. Cook. In 1996, he was called to lead Pine Leaf M.B. Church in Hazelhurst, Mississippi. His pastorship was for one year at Pine Leaf. In January of 1997, he was called to lead Oak Ridge Missionary Baptist Church in New Hebron, Mississippi. Pastor Weathersby pastored Oak Ridge from January 1997 to December 2006. Under His leadership, ministries was established. Pastor Weathersby received degrees from McKinley and Wesley Theological Seminary in Jackson. He also has a B.A. of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi. Pastor Weathersby was chosen as Coordinator for Christian Education for the Simpson County Baptist Association in December 2002. Additional Christian Education includes classes and courses from The Church Management And Tax Conference in Shreveport, La. He's married to Benita Weathersby and they have four daugthers and three grandchlidren.
